The sacred music of Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina is often held up as the greatest achievement of the 16th-century Roman School of composition. But his five books of Italian madrigals represent some of the earliest examples of this genre that would soon become one of the most popular forms of song in the Renaissance era. Acclaimed vocal ensemble Exsultemus opens its 2010-2011 season with some of these sublime works by Palestrina and his contemporaries.

Ticket Information: All seats are Reserved and will be assigned in the order they are received. Tickets will be mailed to purchaser until one week prior to the performance, when they will be available for pickup 30 minutes prior to the concert.
